By any chance, did you see barbers there..on the go? (Lots of those in ND) They hang a mirror an a tree branch, get a stool and charge 10 rupees a shave.

I didn't have a chance to visit many parts of india, maybe on my next trip inshallah.
I saw so many things. Barbers all over the place, a tailor on the go, a beverages guy selling it from a container carried on his bicycle, so many things.
